The aim of Physics-online.com is to make it easy for physics teachers and learners to find interactive teaching resources or videos. We do this by providing content, and by proving a service that makes it easy to find suitable online content.
A paid subscription to physics-online.com includes premium content developed by Physics-online.com and other premium features.
Physics-online.com includes links to 3rd party websites. The origin of 3rd Party links is clearly labeled and users can visit the origin site and content directly.
Physics-online does not charge for access to third party websites. These can be visited directly or via the free physics-online lite account.
Physics-online.com is a supplement to a classroom based physics course. It is not intended as a distance learning course for independent study. A school subscription is intended for students who (physically) attend a school . It does not include distance-learning student access without prior agreement (please contact us)
We won't renew your subscription automatically. Shortly before it comes up for renewal we'll ask you.
If you are not happy with physics-online.com we will refund your remaining subscription on a pro-rata basis calculated quarterly.
Interruption and Service
Physics-online.com will endeavour to provide an high quality uninterrupted service however we cannot guarantee this. Nor can we guarantee the constant availability of a particular resources.
Linked 3rd Party Resources
Physics-online.com links to 3rd party sites that are freely available on the web. The originating source of the site is clearly displayed and so too is a direct link to the site and source which takes you outside Physics-online.com. Physics-online takes great care when selecting 3rd party sites to link to and we regularly monitor their availability. We cannot however guarantee the availbility of these sites and their on going suitability for students. If you are still concerned about the suitability of 3rd party sites for students please do not subscribe to physics-online. The subscription charge relates to the access to our own content and the service of finding and organising resource. The subscription charge does not relate to access to third party resources.
Any documents uploaded to the physics-online server must not contain any viruses, defamatory or explicit information. We do not guarantee the availability or security of uploaded documents or files. In all cases the user should ensure that they have local backup copies of all files.
The curriculum navigator maps a number of popular courses. Physics-online.com is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of the curriculum navigator and course mappings. Course mappings are subject to change and availabilty cannot be guaranteed.
We reserve the right to discontinue a subscription at any time without justfication. Where applicable the remaining subscription fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis calculated quarterly. Termination may be actioned if we consider an account to be subject to unreasonable use.
Usernames and Passwords
We reserve the right to change account passwords.
Any legal issues relating to Physics-online.com will be settled in the UK courts.
